To revert back to a previous configuration, you need to backup the configuration that was working fine once.
The option is there but you need that previous state's backup. Just like snapshots. They do not work by default, when you need to revert to a certain point you have to manually take one.
If you don't have a config backup, i doubt there's any other way.
