Would I be able to add 5 ESX in my VCENTER then? What is that license named?
View ArticleRe: Implementation of two ESXi and new switch setup.
I haven't seen that you have an essential license. So you will not be able to add 5 hosts , because of the limitation of 3 hosts. So you need to migrate your host one by one. Regards,Julien

So no *easy* way to do this? Can I activate the Essentials Plus license temporarily on all 5 servers, so I could use Live Migration?
View ArticleRe: Implementation of two ESXi and new switch setup.
if you have already order your new license key, just add it into your vCenter , and assign your license key. You will be able to use live migration and migrate your host without downtime. Regards,Julien.

I have ordered it, and it is activated on the two new ones.Ok great, so i will just activate it temporarily on all five, and then live migrate them. This just leave me with the switch install.. hmm.
