Unfortunately i have never configure HP servers and could not give you some advise about it, but usually there is a string with a combination of buttons on the stage of initialisation of storage controller which starts the storage utility. Or you can look out in the UEFI/BIOS, i guess the storage utility is more preferable than Smart CD.
