Welcome to the Community - Are you using vCenter? If you are then the typical install the local administrator group is given Administrative access so any user has administrative access should be able to login if it was installed with the default settngs.
If it is an ESXi host you are connecting to then the user name should be root - hopefully no password has been set - if it has you will need to reinstall the ESXi host
